First time in the history of Pakistan that we are creating a freedom of voice as a public Channel.
As it is in your knowledge that Safeer-e-Pakistan is one of the oldest and longest running TV program with great reputation in the media industry over the last 30 years. Safeer-e-Pakistan has served USA and Canada with its maximum capacity and we have moved the very exciting project Pakistan Public Broadcasting Services (PPBS) and its sister project, i.e. Overseas Pakistani Television (OPTV) Global Network to its soft launching in Karachi’s operation office, however it is headquartered in USA. It was a long awaited project and in demand. Therefore, Safeer-e-Pakistan has decided to introduce the OPTV Global to provide programs free of politics and negativity so as to create and project positive image of Pakistan all over the world. OPTV Global is going to be based on memberships and in fact instead of going to the political parties and politicians; we are going to go grassroots level from people to people, resonating a concept ‘ONE Pakistan – One Nation’.
At OPTV Global, we have teams on religion, education, health, civic life, life coaching, small businesses, wellness, tele-healthcare, family life, healthy food, entertainment, News hourly update, overseas Pakistan update, news report from the globe about the Pakistani education and related technologies, vocational education, job announcements, civic and political awareness, kids and youth, art and music, etc. Therefore, we are creating our studios within schools, colleges, universities in order to facilitate kids and youth to create there own programs, like the media does in USA. We are trying to change things in Pakistan through our programs. In the beginning, it will be Internet Protocol (IP) based WEB TV and like the social media, which is a powerful mode of communication, this channel will be available to all over the world and will be optimized by every big search engine and will be in well integration with the social media. We are also working on lending our program on local cable system (it is called the Lending rights) in Pakistan. This is our ultimate craving and goal to create healthy brain – healthy nation; so as to learn where the whole world is going and to engage local and global scholars in order to provide the expert advice. This is the fine and the first time in the history of Pakistan that we are creating a freedom of voice as a public Channel. This channel is a vocal channel so that we are not begging private owned firms to run for profit and personnel gain. This channel is bringing lot of trading and training programs as well as seminars so as to help people to progress.

We have worked day and night to bring the motivational story to common people of Pakistan to get them inspired here in abroad and to work harder for their dreams. Now its time to do something better for Pakistan as this will be a Media NGO in near future.

Mr. Waqar Ali Khan
Founder And CEO, OPTV Global and PPBS
As a well-known personality in the American Pakistani Community, Waqar Khan is the true Ambassador of Pakistan. He is the founding member of several key organizations and institutions in the US that aim to provide a platform for the progress of the Pakistani community and strengthen its link to the American society. He is the founder of the Pakistan American CEO Forum, an organization that promotes interaction, lobbying and dialogue between the Pakistani community members and elected officials. “A Day on the Hill” in Washington DC (2009-2010), provided the much needed communication between the Pakistani community, US lawmakers and legislatures. Khan also heads the Pakistan American Sheriff Advisory Council, a group dedicated to developing relations and cooperation between the Sheriff’s Office and the Pakistani community. He is also a founding chairman of Pakistan American Chamber of Commerce (PACC).
